    I unfortunately got myself into a second DUI situation that was possibly winnable, and Brett pushed it as far as he could take it, even informing me of how the police officer was going to testify to give me a chance to accept a plea agreement (which i did) . Let me remind you I could've taken this to court with a chance to win, but it would have been my word against the police officers, a risk i didn't want to take. With the plea agreement and in front of the Judge, Brett made me look great making great and valid points for the Judge to accept his offer over the states with certain stipulatioins, i'm not going into specifics but alot of people don't get half a good of deal on their first DUI. Brett was very thorough, he did a great job and well respected in the court room. He comes highly recommended by me, just hope I don't require his expertise again.

    Brett McIntosh was my attorney in a drug case in which I was arrested for four felony drug possessions. I hired Brett before I was arrested, because i knew it was coming after a long investigation. I found Brett through word of mouth. I was in a class with someone that had a similar drug possession, and Brett did incredible things for him. Brett walked me through every step of the process and really alleviated a lot of my anxiety. He discussed options, likely outcomes, and went for the best-case-scenario. When I was arrested, the booking Sheriff was filling out the paperwork and asked if I had an attorney. I responded, "Brett McIntosh." His only response while writing his name on the booking sheet was, "Good attorney." And he said it in a way that he obviously meant it sincerely. In the end, Brett's relationships with the prosecutors, judges, police and other court personnel paid off for me and I ended up with the best-cas-scenario. He got me into a program that will allow me to have my charges dismissed upon completion and not have felony drug convictions on my record. For me this was the best possible outcome. Thanks Brett.

    After being arrested for something that I was not responsible for, I sought legal assistance. I met with several attorneys before deciding Mr. McIntosh was the best candidate. The circumstances of my arrest were very stressful for me. Mr. McIntosh expressed my need to be patient to let the case work out. He was always very courteous and professional, as was his co-counsel and legal secretary. My many phone calls and emails were promptly answered. My mind was set at ease many times when I contacted Mr. McIntosh to see how things were progressing, he made the situation much less stressful. I was very comfortable in trusting and believing in Mr. McIntosh and his legal advice. As my case progressed I was offered a plea by the state that I was not comfortable accepting, as I was not guilty of the charge against me. Mr. McIntosh was very forthcoming of what the consequences could be if we went to trial and it did not go my way. He also gave me the courage to believe that the truth is what I needed to stand by. We proceeded to trial, I was very scared but trusted Mr. McIntosh that the truth would come out. The charges were dropped before trial. I do not believe another attorney would have worked as diligently as he did to show the prosecutor what the facts were or to guide me to stand up for myself as he did. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. I hope to never need the assistance of another attorney again, but in the event I did...he is the only attorney I would call.

    Brett worked on my case for almost over a year. He put so much time and effort into my case it was unbelievable. We ended up going to trial. The trial lasted three days, and Brett and Kevin never stopped fighting. They put so much heart into everthing they did. We won that trial, and I was found innocent. If it wasn't for Brett, I don't think I'd be where I am today. Seriously, in my opinion, Brett and his team are the best lawyers I could have asked for!

    "Brett gave me my life back"
    Brett came highly recommended to me by several other lawyers whom I hold in high regard. Brett was more than fair in his fees and he even charged me significantly less than the price we agreed on. He leveled with me on exactly what to expect each step of the way and never gave me false hope. Brett countered negotiations with the state to make a deal but I ultimately didn't feel comfortable accepting and Brett supported my decision. He told me what to expect if we went to trial and what the repercussions could be if things didn't go my way. I was terrified but continually reassured by those I know in the business that I had the right guy in my corner. I was also nervous at the notion of testifying but Brett gave me confidence to do so. On the day of trial Brett picked up on even the subtlest of inconsistencies and mounted an excellent defense on my behalf. Even up until the end of the trial, it seemed as if the verdict could go either way, but Brett's closing statements to the jury were incredibly compelling and ultimately landed a not guilty verdict. Brett isn't only a damn good lawyer, he's a damn good man and I am forever grateful for his services

    Mr. McIntosh is the best lawyer in Sarasota. I really got myself into serious trouble getting my 4th. DUI. I was referred to Brett by a close friend that I truly trust. I met with him and he was straight to the point. Letting me know just how serious a 4th DUI is. Any DUI is serious, but the 4th. one...I'm going to jail.     My family originally hired Brett in 1999 for serious charges, state was offering 17 years. I will never forget the day when Mr. McIntosh asked me" would you like to take the states offer or should I prepare for trial"? Without hesitation I said, " prepare for trial", that's how much faith and trust i have in Brett. Mr. McIntosh and his dedicated staff put their heart and soul in my case (which took about 2 years) had a trial jury and won! I now have my own "statue" that people in my position can use in court. Brett is one of the best trial attorneys I have ever seen, he faught for me like I was his own daughter. Just recently ,2019, I found myself in a little bit of trouble my first instinct was to call Brett and without hesitation he was there for me and everything went in my favor. I personally have a special bond with Brett. God and Brett worked together and saved my life in 1999. This is the man to go to if you have any criminal charges. He will work for you like no other attorney will, he is highly respected and to be honest I think a lot of attorneys are afraid or maybe intimidated to go up against him.     I would like to extend my appreciation to Brett McIntosh, for being in his element, patience, and a great role model. His diligence, self-motivation as well as his dedication have been a source of inspiration and confidence to work toward my legal degree. Mr. McIntosh agreed to represent me and I am 5 counties away. I originally hired Mr. McIntosh on 8/05, after 6 months of dealing with an incompetent Public Defender. The first time I spoke to Mr. McIntosh, he request a profile and listened to my version of the event leading to the arrest. For 6 months I was number 11-2018-MM-XXXX, I was no longer a person or had a name. Within one weeks of hiring Mr. McIntosh, an offer was made. Mr. McIntosh educate and listen to all and any questions I may have. He never coerce and was patient. On 8/20, my first court appearance with Mr. McIntosh, he elaborately introduce me to the judge, “he made the judge see me”. The day before the hearing, the judge denied his order for continuance. While in court, he articulately had it overturn. Within one week of the court appearance, Mr. McIntosh had the charges dropped

    Two years ago I was charged with a felony and my lawyer and I agreed that a plea agreement was my best choice of action. Within the first year my lawyer died unexpectedly, two months before my first sentencing hearing. We discussed my situation at length and he explained every aspect of my case with me. He worked hard for a year through numerous postponements on my behalf and was able to get my sentence lowered.
