Whether it is a world away or here at home, I strive to help others through my work. I learned the significance of helping others from my parents who spent their careers teaching people with disabilities. In this respect, I learned one powerful lesson from my parents: be passionate about your work. I am passionate about the law and I look forward to working for you.
I joined McIntosh Law Firm as an Associate Attorney in 2013. I am a trial attorney and member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association. Prior to joining McIntosh Law Firm, I worked as a Foreign Service Limited officer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Afghanistan. My job in Afghanistan included monitoring and evaluating legal training programs for the Afghan Appeals Court.
My family and I are active members of the Sarasota community. I serve as the Vice-Chairman of the Sarasota County Democrat Executive Committee and I am a Board Member of the Gulf Coast Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Association. I am a parish member at Church of the Incarnation in Sarasota. We are members and frequent visitors to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
Kevin Griffith earned his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. Griffith holds a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Griffith earned an undergraduate degree from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

"Criminal Felony charges"Mr. McIntosh did not set me up for failure. He did not sugar coat my charge or lie to me at any point, he was straight forward and up front about everything. He is as I was told an Attorney that State Prosecutors want to avoid at all costs due to his immense experience, his court procedure and the fight he goes out of his way to defend his clients. Mr. McIntosh is that and much more if you find yourself looking at the wrong side of the law for any reason I urge you to contact him without any doubt what so ever. He had my case dismissed without me even having to go to court once. I spent 20 years in the Military and I'm telling my fellow Brothers and Sisters here to find Brett if you have legal issues. "HOME RUN!!"Mr. McIntosh is the best lawyer in Sarasota. I really got myself into serious trouble getting my 4th. DUI. I was referred to Brett by a close friend that I truly trust. I met with him and he was straight to the point. Letting me know just how serious a 4th DUI is. Any DUI is serious, but the 4th. one...I'm going to jail. Brett had a plan in mind from the get go, and the plan worked. He not only kept me from going to jail for a long time, but got me sentenced into a one year program built around helping me with my drinking issue.
